Welcome to the first Green Culture Visuals quarterly e-newsletter. You provided us with your contact details at either the Sustainable Living Festival 09 or the Carbon Reduction & Trading Expo 09 - for further interest or future contact.
Green Culture Visuals has equally intrigued and pleased audiences in Melbourne upon it’s launch. This brand new concept allows businesses to create the direction they want their employees to take as many have yet to realize the far reaching effects and benefits of responsive employees.
We hope you will find our news relevant and purposeful but above all enjoy future information sessions & exhibitions held to showcase the visuals that support strategic communications.

As the heading implies, if your organisation has conducted a carbon audit you will be aware of the financial benefits of reducing waste, reducing energy usage and increasing recycling.
Many organisations find that after the initial phase where employees are engaged and remember the benefits of greener systems, work eventually gets in the way and being green gets forgotten, or at best, is left for a later date.
Employees already know the impacts of their actions and understand that things need to change and how we all have to adapt to that change. But not all will have the tools of the understanding on how to make that change permanent. Acquiring these tools is fundamental to any individual employee making a change in behaviour.
Workplaces also need to reinforce their green message in ways that are not disruptive to their employee’s work. Sending emails, holding infrequent meetings, or printing instructional labels above light switches are all short-term. They get seen and quickly forgotten - quickly fading into the background.
The longer workplaces postpone regularly reinforcing and reminding employees in an engaging manner, the longer it is going to take them to change their behaviours to match the green policies that are being implemented - all the while costing the organisation money and greener outcomes.
Employees need to feel involved and recognised for their engagement and greener actions. The acknowledgement spurs them on to be more conscious about their future actions and keeps it in the forefront of their minds. Engaged employees will be the difference between successful greener changes, or a momentary one.
